I cry like a baby.

Shoes: Black ankle boots bought in Melbourne.

This was my "nosebleed" outfit. I didn't want to risk wearing anything with light colors.
You may or may not remember that I bought the dress I'm wearing in Japan back in November. I must say it still makes me look slightly pregnant but I only need to lose another 7kgs and it should look good after that.
I don't know how it happened but for the past year or so I have seriously fallen in love with Vivienne Westwood. It might be because Australia doesn't have a VW boutique so I can't really satisfy my desires, it may also be because I'm influenced by NANA and my increasing interest in Gothic, Victorian, interesting cuts, punk rock and all things costume. There is this beautiful summer dress on sale at 50% off from VW right now. I love it so much I want to cry, but it costs $150GBP (around $300AUD). I've been saving money for the possibility of funding another exchange to Japan, so I can use that money to buy the beautiful dress but I'd feel miserable when I have to ask my parents to give me money for my exchange next year. What should I do?! Plus I hate buying clothes over the internet because I never know if something would fit/suit me unless I try it on.
I've been trying really hard to act like an adult and not take advantage of my parents kindness of still offering me an allowance, but I always overspend what I earn so my dad still ends up paying for most of the things off my credit card. I guess I'm still immature after all. That makes me want to cry more!!! >.<;; Speaking of crying, I must not read shoujo manga late at night ever again! I especially shouldn't read anything by Ai Yazawa because I cry. I cry like a baby though. I cried through Titanic for godsake! You probably already know I'm a huge fan of Ai Yazawa's big hit NANA, but I've been reading a lesser known work by her called Paradise Kiss (this manga is actually more popular overseas than it is in Japan). Apart from the heartbreaking storyline (which inevitably was the reason why my eyes were swollen this morning), the fashion in the manga really has to be commended. I put a rough collage together (sorry, I've always sucked at making collages, even in kindergarten) just to show you snippets of the the fashion in Paradise Kiss. The manga has been translated into English already and published by Tokyopop. I'm going to buy the series (only 5 volumes) when I go into the city next time.
