Doggie Party
This was from two weeks back I think. Joyce and Dickson held a birthday party for their baby Sam at Cafe Scrumptious (everyone should go visit the wonderful Cafe Scrumptious in Erskineville!). All the other doggie mummies and daddies also bought their babies along with them to celebrate. Since I don't have a doggie I brought my sister instead LoL.My sister loves animals and especially dogs. I on the other hand don't receive the same excited pulsations in my heart when I see animals. I mean my favorite animals are Dinosaurs (fascinating creatures they are). So I bought a stuffed toy along with me. My sister named her (during the car ride) Coco Chanel (if I had known, I wouldn't have brought her along in a Vuitton bag). Anyway, she's a labrador and she's 3 weeks and 3 days old. Don't kids have the greatest imaginations?
It was very windy that day so my cardigan and pashmina didn't protect me at all, so despite my efforts to look good at the Doggie party, I ended up borrowing an oversized black windbreaker from Tommy *sighs*.
I had interesting conversations with friends who called me that day.
Friend: Hey Mel what are you doing?
Me: I'm at a Doggie party.
Friend: Um... should I call you back?
Me: NOT THAT TYPE OF DOGGIE!
