Osaka Part 1
Ewww... yuck yuck yuck! Please excuse my last post! Why oh why sweet God (of Death) did I become so disgustingly sappy?! If I use my head and think clearly now, the only reason I noticed the guy in the first place was because he was hot... I wonder we would still have had "shared a moment" if he looked like this:
Probably not huh?
I guess I just felt like writing some prose. But thank you to all the people who commented or emailed me and said they liked it^^
Anyway I went to Osaka over the weekend. I *heart* Osaka soooooooooo much! I spent the whole time eavesdropping into other people's conversations trying to hear their Osaka-ben (the accent/dialect in Osaka). I think I drove my host family crazy by continually saying, "nande ya nen?" (Osaka-ben for "What?!") and "hokashite" (Osaka-ben for "throw it away"), but Osaka-ben is so addictive, I just couldn't stop with the random words.
It was a 7 hour car trip to Osaka, and we sadly passed right through Kyoto (another place I really want to go see).

When we finally arrived, we went to one of the most famous castle's in Japan, the crazily named, "OSAKA CASTLE" or in Japanese, "Osaka Jou". Unfortunately, since it was late the museum wasn't open anymore, but I did get to buy some nice souvenirs.

After castle visiting and a delicious Naruto style Ramen dinner (I always have Miso Ramen), Bec and I went to Umeda which is the shopping district in Osaka which houses Hanshin, Daimaru and Hankyu (huge department stores). The atmosphere in Umeda really nice but that's only because I love the hustle and bustle of the city. There were some really stylish girls there as well. During the two hours I was there I saw five girls wearing Christian Louboutin pumps ♥

The shops closed at 9pm so Bec and I wandered around the city just admiring the view and people until we stopped at a Häagen-Dazs ice cream cafe. I had a double cone of cookie's and cream and green tea ice cream. Yum~~
I'll post up Osaka Part 2 - Universal Studios tomorrow. I will leave you with a photo of Umeda.
