eto...

So long time no blog. I really regret the fact that I didn't bring a laptop to Japan. I assumed that my host family would have at least three computers considering they are a family of five and the parents are computer engineers. You can expect my shock when I realize they only have only one working laptop connected to the net right next to the TV set in the living room where the whole family can watch me resize my horrid school girl photos. Thus moral of this story, always bring along your own technology even if you're going to the worlds' most technologically advanced country. Also I probably won't post many photos... =/

However, speaking of technology the toilet seats are warm, the car door slides open automatically, when you shift your gear in reverse the GPS changes to the camera at the back of the car and you can have karaoke in the car. Yup, the mic, the music, the lyrics, the whole shebang!

I also can't find the correct punctuation on this laptop as the keys are all out of order, so excuse my poor punctuation... I'm not that fob yet!

My school is Numazu Nishi High School. It's a big co-ed schhol which is supposedly 2nd in the region which means I have to study hard =( I'm being put with the 2nd years (11th grade) so I'll be really old there... lol

My school looks like the one out of Full Metal Panic! The shoe boxes are so cool (we have shoe boxes because you wear slippers inside the school), but I promise I won't blow them up (FMP! Fumofuu insider joke, sorry. I acutually wanted to crack that joke in an article I have to write for the school newsletter but then I reconsidered as it might get lost in translation).

Hmm... what else have I observed in the past few days? Well the boyband Kattun from Johnny's Jr are huge at the moment. The most popular member's Kame and Akanishi are on all the ads, from cell phones to lip balm. I think Akanishi is indeed extremely kakkoii/good looking but the music is really poppy (as can be expected from Johnny's) and their English lyrics are incomprehendable. But I have to listen to them all the time because my 13 year old host sister is obsessed with them =S

The food here is really good but the servings are tiny.

I'm hungry... somebody feed me! =)
