The Anime Rant
First things first, Gravitation is finally up again. I made a new layout featuring the deliciously sexy Giselle Bundchen who's the new face of Louis Vuitton taking over the throne from Uma Thurman. I don't have as much stuff on there as I did before, but that's only I dedicate more of my time to this little thing now. If you have any suggestions of what else I can put on it, email me: hotshinya@gmail.comI'm not sure if most of you know my geeky anime obessed fangirl side *insert shifty eyes* But I will stand and proudly announce I'm one of those who thinks that "cartoon characters" are hot and that I've gotten involved in many fandoms. Ah see, even the anime jargon is flowing out. I remember my first ever anime love affair was with Slam Dunk back when I was in 8th grade, the year 2001. If you have ever come across an Mistress Rukawa... well yeah, that was me.
Shortly after Slam Dunk I watched Evangelion and Gundam Wing, which would both remain close to my heart. I could tell you the history to each GW pilot in detail and give you a rundown on all the different guns they had on their Gundams. On the faithful day of 911, it was stormy and hailing in Sydney. I think it was generally a menacing day for everyone around the world. However the first thing that came into my head was, "The 2nd Impact is late!!!"
Yes.
I am an anime geek.
And I am proud.
This pride soon led me to love Naruto, X/1999, Gravitation (and all other yaoi), Fushigi Yuugi, Escaflowne, the manga's Deathnote and Nana and of course Full Metal Panic!

TSR - Sergeant Sagara Sousuke being cute.
For those who think The Simpson's is an anime, then I urge you to start your journey of otakuness with Full Metal Panic!. 24 episodes full of action, comdey and a hint of romance. To ease the addiction after you've finished watching the first series, watch Full Metal Panic! Fumofuu which is completely and utterly comic. It's based entirely around Kaname's high school life and appears to be set during the school time of the first series. And most recently we have... Full Metal Panic 2: The Second Raid.

Kaname cutting Sousuke's hair.
I finished watching TSR a few days ago, and I was told that this series was all about action. I was scared at first that this might have meant the series had lost it's charm. But I can vouch for it now that it is still fast, witty and at times heart breaking.
This series continues on seamlessly from the first one with no bullshit filler episodes. Episode 3 and 4 is packed with action action action! The type of action that leaves you watching and waiting to see what happens in the middle of the night.

The FMP mecha: The Arm Slave. Although it's not the best designed mecha in anime (because Alsedies from Escaflowne is the coolest) it does it's job and Lambada Drive does have it's moments.
The graphics are great as usual. Although the characters are a little typically drawn and at times stiff, the fight scenes are always done really well. But I think the point that all the hot blooded males want me to get to is the fanservice. And let me tell you, there's quite a bit of fanservice in this series.
We have hot Chinese lesbian twins who are also icy killing machines bathing each other, Melissa Mao with long flowing hair in a tight dress being felt up by some bad dude, and Sousuke going up to a hooker's room. So the boys will enjoy it.

The twins.

Melissa looking sexy.

Kaname naked.

Tessa making a porno face.
Somewhere around the end, the love story of Kaname and Sousuke gets a bit frustrating and you're just sitting there thinking, "Just fuck already!"

Sooooooo close...
There's a special treat for the the fans of the manga Deathnote. L makes a little cameo in the hairdresser scene.

Enjoy!
